Quilts of Valor Presentation

Detachment Members Honored

Daytona Beach -- On Wednesday, April 8, at the opening of our regular Detachment business meeting, members of the Captain "Tiger" Mayberry Detachment were awarded with custom, hand-made quilts by the Quilts of Valor Foundation.  During each presentation, the veterans' history was read while the Foundation lovingly enveloped the veteran in their own quilt as a symbol of comfort from a grateful nation.
